Science Communicators

Science Communicators have a key role in making the Abu Dhabi Science Festival (ADSF) a huge success. Hundreds of locally recruited higher education students will be trained by world-class experts to become Science Communicators at ADSF this year. These students will facilitate the Festival’s many workshops; inspire the youth, explain the thrilling exhibits and perform exciting science demonstrations. 

Science Communicators will acquire critical communication skills that will be instrumental in effectively engaging the local community during the Festival; these skills will also prove to be highly beneficial for them in their future professional careers. 

How do you become a Science Communicators

Science Communicators are selected through their universities by applying for the role. The candidates are to be professional and good communicators who are passionate and willing to teach and make learning a more engaging experience for children.

Training

Science Communicators will receive the best training through high quality workshops and put their training into practice during the ADSF by helping visitors make the most of every experience. Science Communicators will acquire critical communication skills that will be instrumental in effectively engaging the local community during the Festival. These skills will also prove to be highly beneficial for them in their future professional careers
